Advent of the Coming—Full Service for 23 November 2025

January 9, 2026 by ECotN

As Advent and Christmas approach, Pastor Ian explores the tension between cultural celebrations and deeper spiritual traditions. While decorations, music, and movies fill our homes, the church’s Advent season calls for preparation, self-control, and active faith. Drawing from Luke 12:35–38, Luke 12:40, and 1 Thessalonians 5:1–11, Pastor Ian encourages us to focus on hope, love, and readiness for Christ’s return—not just the festivities. Are we working for what truly matters, or just swept up in the season’s glitter? #Advent #Christmas #Faith #Hope #Love #SpiritualReflection #Church #SeasonOfPreparation
